What these terms cover

They apply to everything we do for you: building and maintaining a website, search visibility, advertising, reviews and email.

If a quote or order confirmation says something different from what is written here, what is written there applies.

Term and cancellation

The website runs per month and can be cancelled monthly, with a notice period of one month.

For advertising and SEO there is a minimum of three months. That is not there to lock you in, but because a campaign needs about six weeks before there is anything to measure. After that it continues per month.

You can cancel by email. You do not need to give a reason.

Payment

We invoice one-off amounts at the start. Monthly amounts are charged one month in advance, by direct debit.

Advertising budget is always separate from our fee and goes directly to Google or Meta. Our fee is a fixed amount and never a percentage of your budget.

If a direct debit fails, you receive an email with a payment link and then a reminder. We do not simply take your site offline; we call first.

Who owns what, and what happens when you stop

Your own material always remains yours: your texts, your photos, your logo, your domain name and everything in your Google Business Profile and your advertising accounts. We never have any claim to those.

The website itself is a subscription. For the monthly fee it is online, and we maintain it and do the updates and the backups. If you cancel, that stops and the site goes offline. Your domain name remains yours and you can point it elsewhere straight away.

If you want to keep the site, you buy it out at the part of the build value that is not yet covered by the monthly fees at that point. You then receive the files and can have it run by any provider. That amount is stated in your order confirmation, so that you know it before you start and not only when you want to leave.

We set up advertising accounts and your Google Business Profile in your name at the start, not in ours. If you stop, you simply keep them, including everything that has been built up in them.

What we do and do not promise

We do not promise positions in Google or a number of enquiries. Nobody can, and anyone who does is selling you something other than what they deliver.

What we do is show you every month what has happened and what it delivered, and tell you honestly when something is not working.

What we expect from you

That you supply the material we ask for, and that you respond when we submit something for your approval. If that does not happen, delivery is postponed, but the monthly fee continues once the service is running.

That what you supply is yours or that you are allowed to use it. We can only publish photos by a photographer or texts by someone else if that has been arranged.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will let you know at least one month in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel as of the date they take effect.

Liability

If something goes wrong through our fault, we put it right. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before for the service in which it went wrong.

We cannot be held liable for outages at parties we depend on, such as Google, Meta or the hosting provider.
